Extreme Cleans Our regular cleaning services are designed for properties that may not have been cleaned for a few weeks, or up to a few months. However, when a property has not been cleaned for a significantly longer period, such as 6-12 months or even years, we are not able to perform our normal service and we will not be able to get the property up to our high standards in one service.
This is due to the extremely large accumulation of dust, dirt, and grime, or because the property may be filled with clutter and/or rubbish. Many of our cleaners are not equipped or trained to handle these conditions, as the work required is drastically different from our standard cleans.
If we arrive at your property and identify that it falls into this category, we will offer the following two options:
1. Cancel the service (our Cancellation Policy will apply)
2. Upgrade to an “Extreme Clean” (provided your Cleaning Team is capable and willing on the day)

This may include heavy-duty cleaning, rubbish removal, and more. Due to the property’s starting condition, we may not be able to meet Maid to Clean’s usual high standards in one service. Our goal will be to restore the home to a manageable state, after which we can recommend scheduling regular maintenance services.
Our Team will work on our Extreme Clean Hourly Rate and will work flexibly to your priorities. The service will be time based and we will clean as much of the home as possible in the time booked. Unlike our other services however, we cannot guarantee the final condition of the home, and we can only promise to try our best. We cannot guarantee a perfectly clean home.

Specialized Equipment and Training
Our teams may need specialized tools and training to deal with certain types of grime, mold, or clutter that are not present in regular cleans.
